Properties:
Quartz crystal with iron deposit and heat creating the beautiful purple color in its formation, Found mostly in Brazil, Uruguay, and Korea, Containing the same 6 sided formation as quartz, grows and forms in volcanic geodes with Calcite and other minerals in an agate base. Geodes are formed in sedimentary and volcanic rock, from vesicles or gas bubbles in rock, minerals are deposited by hydrothermal fluid, and create space in the hollow structure where crystalline nodules are created from this chemical process of precipitation.
