Properties:

Phyllosilicate class of minerals, discovered in secondary minerals, basalt vesicles and other volcanic rock, prismatic tabular crystals shaped in pyramids, Tetragonal, also grows with Zeolite, normally pink in color, a micro porous, aluminosilicate mineral, used in commercial absorbents and catalysts, Apophyllite is most often clear, but can also be white, green, blue, yellow, pink and violet, the highest quality specimens are discovered in India, but it is also found in Germany, Canada, Norway, Ireland, Scotland, Japan, Brazil and the United States
